Natural antifungals to heal candida

Antifungals can help fight cancer and yeast infections.
Candida is a fungus! It is the result and not the cause of disease,
like cancer. The good and happy news is that there are natural
antifungals to help you fight cancer and yeast infections.

The most common form of fungi is candida albicans, also called
Candida or candidiasis. Goldenseal is an herb proven to get rid of

#1: Aloe vera.
Aloe vera has an unexpected ability to inhibit fungal growth. Aloe
vera is an herbal friend with antifungal properties!


#2: Biotic silver.
Biotic silver is a pure silver protein that's a natural antibiotic and
antifungal. Biotic Silver effecively kils and removes all bacterial

Be careful to dilute boric acid and heed what Dr. Axe has to say
about it.

#4: Citronella Essential oil is an anti-fungal.
A lesser known fact about citronella is that it's an antifungal.
Specifically, Dr. Joseph Mercola says that "
citronella has potent
antifungal properties that help suppress the growth of fungi
species, such as Aspergillus, Penicillium, and Eurotium."

#5: Colloidal Silver is an anti-fungal.
An antifungal is a fungicide that treats and prevents mycoses,
such as athlete's foot or ringworm.
Colloidal Silver effectively
treats these conditions.

  • Colloidal Silver kills ringworm /athletes feet. Colloidal
    Silver is a home remedy for ringworm (Tinea capitis), which
    is a contagious itching skin disease that shows up in the
    form of small circular patches. It's caused by fungi and
    affects scalp and feet, most notably in the form of athlete's

#6: Clove bud is an anti-fungal.
Clove bud oil is known for easing pain (it's an analgesic ideal for
dental pain). It helps with inflammation and is a local anesthetic.
Clove oil can also be diffused as immune-boosting remedy. What
makes clove bud oil truly interesting is that it has antifungal
properties that can help to inhibit Candida formation.


#7: Garlic (Allicillin).
A chemical component of garlic, allicillin, is an antimicrobial that
inhibits the growth of bacteria as well as paratsites and Candida.
Garlic can completely change the flora in your gut over time.

  • How to use garlic as an antifungal for your feet: Mince
    garlic and add to olive oil, then rub on the feet. Allow to
    absorb and then wipe away with a power towel, allowing the
    minced garlic to absorb through olive oil as the carrier oil.

#8: Goldenseal.
Goldenseal is an herb proven to get rid of Candida. According to
the University of Maryland Medical Center, "
A substance in
goldenseal, called berberine, does kill some kinds of bacteria and
fungus in test tube studies."

Further bolstering the antifungal properties is the notion that
goldenseal can disinfect cuts and scrapes. It has antiseptic
properties, which kill bacteria. Goldenseal kills candida albican,
and it also help improve immune function when  combined with
echinacea.

  • WARNING: A word of caution is that there are possible drug
    interactions with Clycosporine, Digoxicn, Tertracyline, and
    blood thinners, such as Warfarin, Plavix and asprin.There are
    many other possible drug interactions, so don't use
    goldenseal without consulting your physician about possible
    drug interactions. Also, never give goldenseal to children or
    infants.

#9: Grapefruit seed extract.
Along with being an antifungal, grapefruit seed extract is a
powerful antibacterial and antiviral.

#10: Myrhh.
Myrhh available as a resin or as an essential can help kill a
variety of parasites and fungi, including candida. Learn about the

#11: Nutmeg Oil.
Nutmeg oil ((Myristica fragrans) is another essential oil not
commonly discussed in prepper and homesteading circles. Not
only is nutmeg oil an antifungal, but it has properties as an
analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, insecticide and
parasiticide! Nutmeg is not without some warnings, so use only
with extreme caution.

#12: Olive leaf extract.
Along with being an antifungal, Olive leaf extract is also an
antibacterial and antiviral. The extract offers a potent natural
defense against the common cold and flu.

#13: Oregano Oil (Carvacrol).
Notably,oregano oil can help kill a variety of parasites and fungi,
including candida. With the aroma of the familiar Italian spice,
oregano oil is an essential oil with many uses for preppers.

Right is Fungus Stop, made with the power of Oregano Oil! This
best seller treats nail fungus and claims to be 99.9% effective
treatment as an antifungal for toenails and fingernails. The main
active ingredient of Fungus Stop is Carvacrol.

There are many published scientific medical studies on the
properties and effectiveness of Carvacrol, ingredient found in
maximum content in Oregano Oil. With very strong antifungal
properties, it can kill the fungus at a rate of nearly 100% and in a
short time.

#14: Oregon Grape root.
Oregon grape root has antifungal properties. Not just any grape,
but Oregon Grape. Oregon Grape Root promotes a healthy
immune system, and is a renowned herbal bitter with a
traditional use for helping a sluggish digestive tract and for liver
cleansing.
Oregon Grape root has been used traditionally to support the
body's ability to resist infection. Rich in berberine, Oregon Grape
root is a powerful herb to have on hand when the little ones start
to sniffle!

#15: Pau d'arco.
Inherently antifungal, Pau d'arco is from the bark of a rainforest
tree. This natural herb retrieved from the inner bark of the
taheebo tree.

There is some veternary evidence that pau d'arco has an effect as
an alternative method of treating lymphoma when combined with
Vitamin C!

#16: Tea Tree Oil.
Tea tree oil, also known as Melaleuca alternifolia, comes from the
leaves a tree native to New South Wales, Australia. Tea tree oil
not only has significant antiseptic properties, but it is an
antifungal.
Tea tree oil has many medicinal uses for preppers.
Many have used tea tree oil as a mouthwash* to get rid of an
oral thrush, but this is a risky practice as tea tree oil is a poison
and accidental ingestion is a risk. Australian tea tree oil is
effective at getting rid of toenail fungus, too.

  • Here's how to use tea tree oil to get rid of toenail fungus.
    Dab tea tree oil on affected toenails and allow to absorb.
    You'll need repeated application in the coming days to get
    rid of toenail fungus. Eventually your natural treatment will
    work.

  • NOTE: Tea tree oil is an antifungal that should never be
    ingested! Call poison control and get medical attention if
    accidentally ingested.

#17: Thuja.
Thuja oil is a popular meditative aid that also supports skin
health. It has a scent suggesting wormwood, basil and sage. Not
many preppers know about Thuja Essential Oil (Botanical Name:
Thuja occidentalis, also known as white cedar). The coniferous
tree boasts a rich history and is recognized as the Tree of Life
(Arborvitae) across cultures for its myriad restorative properties
and wellness benefits that cultures around the world have relied
on for generations.

  • Skin health: Thuja oil that comes from an evergreen native
    to North America and Europe. Thuja is a natural antifungal,
    which is effective at removing warts.

  • How to use Thuja Essential oils to remove warts. Saturate
    Thuja Essential oil to a bandage and apply the bandage to
    the wart. Repeat the procedure each day until slowly you will
    see the wart go away.

  • Meditative aid: Thuja, known as the The Tree of Life, has
    earned its nickname from traditional wellness practices
    across cultures. Its name is derived from the Greek word
    “thuo,” meaning “to sacrifice,” as the wood was ceremonially
    burned as a sacrifice to the gods. Its leaves, wood, sap and
    oils have been used in various wellness applications by the
    Chinese, Native Canadians, American Indians and in
    Ayurveda. The Ojibwa people in particular revered the tree
    as sacred and considered it a gift of nature.

  • NOTE: Do NOT use thuja essential oil in a diffuser as others
    may have a sensitivity, particularly people who have
    allergies, suffer from emphysema or asthma and new born
    babies.

#18: Thyme Essential Oil (Thymol).
As a natural analgesic, antibacterial, antibiotic, antiviral, and
antifungal,
thyme oil is immensely useful to preppers.  One of the
active ingredients of Listerine is essential oil of thymol, which
means the mouthwash an antifungal! Listerine has many other

According to an abstract published by the U.S. National Library of
Medicine National Institutes of Public health,
Thymol has a
fungicidal effect on Candida species. Specifically, there is an
antifungal activity of thymol against Candida albicans.

#19: Witch Hazel.
Witch Hazel: the name itself conjures up images of a wonder
witch named Hazel and her magic potions. It's an odd name for
such an amazing shrub. Ever wonder about how to use witch
hazel? It's an overlooked prep for the
prepper's medicine cabinet.

It's no wonder this magical substance is so popular with
homesteaders and preppers, because you can use Witch Hazel as
a
topical remedy for mosquito bites, and just about any other
skin irritation, including poison oak, poison ivy and even chicken
pox or eczema, acne and more.
