#15: Steam Distiller - Pure Water.
A steam distiller takes ocean water and makes pure, rain water!
The Pure Water Steam Distiller, pictured immediate right, is a
compact, portable distiller with a removable boiling chamber
allowing for easy filling and cleaning. With a capacity of
approximately 3 liters per three and one-half hour cycle, this
manually filled distiller is  perfect for use in a camper or RV. In
continuous self-sterilization when in operation, this steam
distiller is equipped with a removable boiling tank for easy filling
and cleaning. A safety shutoff switch turns the unit off should it
ever overheat. The unit stores neatly on a countertop for your
convenience, but while in operation, the top should be clear of
any obstruction to allow for proper air circulation. Each Pure
Water distiller is complete with purity vents to allow the organic
and inorganic compounds to escape.

#16. Surewater 260 Gallon Water Storage Tank.
Water is life and as a matter of survival, a family of four needs
270 gallons of water, according to Utah State University A three-
month supply of water is 90 gallons of water per person.  The
standard size for a residential water heater is only 40 or 50
gallons, which is not nearly enough. The SureWater 260 Gallon
Water Storage Tank, pictured on the bottom of the page, stores
260 gallons of water, about enough for a family of four to last
three months. A luxury yes, but among the top prepper
necessities!

#17: Year's Supply of food.
Owning a year's supply of freeze dried food will put your mind at
ease. No one says you have to eat it for an entire year. The idea
the food will stretch the supplies you have and help you get
through winter.

#4: NukAlert-ER Radiation
Detector/Dosimeter/Geiger Counter.
Pictured at the top of the page, NukAlert-ER Radiation detector
measures radiation in food, water, puddles, your roof, clothing,
air filters, all around your home and car. This is a supreme "click-
click click" Geiger counter that reads high levels of Gamma
radiation from nuclear weapon fallout or nuclear plant
emergencies. These are the high levels that will kill you in hours
or days, while most 'mircroRad' meters limit out on high radiation
readings and even give you a ZERO reading if the levels are too
high! If you're a prepper who's going to buy a Geiger counter, this
is the one to own.

#5: Solar Refrigerator.
It almost seems like an oxymoron to use the word "solar" with
refrigerator and indeed it is amazing. The Sundanzer solar
refrigerator, pictured immediate left, provides exceptionally low
energy consumption, requiring less expensive power systems and
providing lower operating costs. It runs on an 80-Watt solar
panel, 110 Ah battery and 15 Amp charge controller. Indeed a
prepper luxury, but completely necessary in a modern off grid
lifestyle.

#6: Treadle Powered Sewing Machine.
The Janome 712T treadle sewing machine, pictured immediate
right, allows you to sew with no electrical power. Now you don't
need to find one at the thrift market or antique store! Now that
would come in handy after an
Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)!

#7. Excalibur Deluxe Dehydrator.
An Excalibur 9 tray dehydrator is a good way to spend a couple of
hundred bucks. Any dehydrator will dry food, but an Excalibur
dries safer, better, and faster than competitors thanks to
Excalibur's patented Hyperwave Fluctuation technology. Ordinary
dehydrators produce constant, unchanging heat, which can cause"
case hardening," and they create a dry surface with moisture
trapped inside – the perfect environment for yeast, mold and
bacteria growth! With the Excalibur Hyperwave Fluctuation
technology, the temperature fluctuates up and down to prevent
this from happening. When the air temperature fluctuates up, the
food's surface moisture evaporates; then, when the air
temperature fluctuates down, the inner moisture moves to the
drier surface. This keeps the food temperature low enough to
keep the enzymes active, but the air temperature gets high
enough to dry food and overcome yeast, mold, and spoilage.

#8. Ultralight sleeping bag.
Bugout in a better sleeping bag. The Nemo Rhythm 25 Primaloft
Sleeping Bag, pictured left, is unlike conventional mummy
shapes. Nemo's SpoonTM Shape backpacking bags give you extra
space where it matters most. Wide in the elbows, the bag tapers
down to the hips then gently flares back out to allow room for
your knees to naturally bend and shift throughout the night. This
innovative bag profile offers true sleeping comfort while
maintaining thermal efficiency and low weight. It's worth every
penny.

#9 Composting toilet.
When SHTF, you can do something with it! The Nature's Head
Composting Toilet, pictured immediate right is a reliable choice
for portable, self contained, urine separating dry toilets on the
water, on the land, or on the road." "This toilet or head, (the
marine term for toilet) was designed by two long time sailors who
sought to create a more user friendly version than anything else
on the market. While we designed our product to withstand the
harsh marine environment, it can be used anywhere you need a
toilet, especially anywhere that plumbing or electricity is difficult
or non-existent -- on RVs or campers, in vacation cabins,
workshops, barns, yurts, even trucks. Most importantly, this toilet
doesn't have the foul odors associated with all other holding tank
systems. The low volume air circulation fan built into the head
provides the added benefit of recycling the air in your bathroom
which helps make your whole environment smell better. Because
it was originally designed for marine use, its rugged design and
materials (all stainless hardware) it has been proven to be
extremely durable no matter what your environment.

#10: Barnett Jackal Crossbow Package.
Offering an innovative design, the Barnett Jackal crossbow
features a sleek, military-style stock with a divided fore grip for
comfortable hand placement. Ready to shoot right out of the box,
this package includes a quick-detach quiver, bolts, and a premium
red dot sight. The quad limb assembly is combined with high
energy wheels and a synthetic string and cable system producing
arrow speeds of 315 feet per second. The combination of the
lightweight stock and the power this bow delivers makes it a
devastating weapon for any hunter, and this one is
Made in the
USA.

#11: Cammenga 417 Official l U.S. Military Compass.
The Commenga official U.S. Military Tritium Lensatic Compass
Model 3H, pictured immediate left, is equipped with a magnifying
lens, sight wire,  and dial graduations in both degrees and mils.
Around $60,t his is the best compass money can buy. The copper
induction dampening system slows the rotation of the magnet
without the use of liquids. This carries the 3H stamp. It is GSA
compliant and
made in the U.S.A.

#12: Fully Stocked GI Medical Kit.
Helpful in administering first aid for reduction of bleeding and
stabilization of wounds, the fully stocked medical kit, pictured
right, goes well beyond a standard household emergency. This
pack is intended for preppers because it is a genuine, front line
combat ready, medic kit (and cheaper than trying to buy
individual components). As one prepper purchaser confides,
"Throw in some QuickClot, Israeli bandages, an aluminum splint,
some chest seals, and a dental kit and you are ready for almost
anything!"

#13: Big Berkey Water Filtration System.
Get the fluoride out of your water and enjoy the purest water
possible with the Big
Berkey Water filtration system now.  This
powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw
water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant
ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations
may be substandard at best. Use it today, use it when the stuff
hits the fan. The Big Berkey system removes pathogenic bacteria,
cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such
as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and
trihalomethanes.  It also reduces nitrates, nitrites and unhealthy
minerals such as lead and mercury.

#14:  Ranger Rescue Entry Tool.
The best you can get, the Ranger Rescue Entry Tool, pictured
right, can be used as an axe, prybar, hydrant wrench, gas shut off
and spanner wrench (2 1/2" hoses and water mains). This tool is
a necessity for all emergency and rescue professionals, and a
luxury for preppers.
