Best Prepping Guides by Jim Cobb
Below is a list of our favorite prepping guides by Jim Cobb in
order of our favorites in no particular order...

Jim Cobb book #1: Prepper's Home Defense.
According to his bio, Jim Cobb lives and works in the Upper
Midwest, sequestered in a fortified bunker with his wife and their
three kids. He knows how to keep them safe and secure and
divulges some controversial ideas in his underrated book,
Prepper's Home Defense, pictured right.

Learn the security strategies you need to protect your family by
any means necessary in the
Prepper's Home Defense book, right.
In the book, the author recommends the deter, delay defend
strategy. The author asks, "Does your disaster preparation plan
include security measures?"

When civilization fails and the desperate masses begin looting,
they will come for your food, water and life-sustaining supplies.
This book shows you how to implement a complete plan for
operational security and physical defense, including:
  • Perimeter Security Systems and Traps
  • House Fortifications and Safe Rooms
  • Secured and Hidden Storage
  • Firearms and Defensive Combat Techniques (if this chapter
interests you, be sure to read Prepper's Armed Defense)
  • Gathering Intelligence and Forming Alliances

Jim Cobb book #2: Prepper's Armed Defense.
Every prepper will have an interest in lifesaving firearms and
alternative weapons to purchase, master and stockpile.

Prepper's Armed Defense book delivers with its comprehensive
overview of gun options, as well as non-lethal and homemade
alternatives you need to neutralize attackers after a catastrophic

and batons, as well as Tonfa and other martial arts weapons. the
book also discusses non-lethal weapons like
pepper spray, Tasers
and stun guns; plus last-minute improvised weapons made
fromcommon household items.

Wondering about the legality? The legalities of self-defense are
also discussed as not all encounters will take place after a
societal collapse.  From the proper way to relate the information
to a police dispatcher to when you should call an attorney, the
focus is on ensuring you don't end up behind bars for protecting
your loved ones.

Jim Cobb book #3: Prepper's financial guide:
You’re prepared for hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, earthquakes
and other natural disasters, but are you ready for the inevitable
man-made disasters to come? This book teaches you the other

the city. If you've decided to stay put, you'll appreciate the
